New Careers and Employability Advisor at DGHE

We are delighted to introduce you to the new Careers and Employability Advisor Roger Martin. Roger has been working in advice and guidance within the university sector since 2001. Before that, he worked for a careers service in East London in schools and local colleges. He is fully qualified and is a Registered Careers Development Professional (RCDP) member of the Careers Development Institute. He is also a member of the Institute of Counselling.

Roger will be available Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term-time. He will support students by offering one to one video appointments as well as ongoing email support when required. Face to face drop-in sessions and appointments will be available once the college has reopened.

Career ideas, career progression, CVs, covering letters, application forms are just some of the things you can discuss with him. Roger will be also involved with our termly employer events as well as working to deliver sector-specific events to suit you, your studies, and career aspirations.
