Join us for this transformative 3-day introductory course where you will gain a solid foundation in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Designed not only to provide a basic understanding of each software and their individual strengths but also the connected workflow between these three heavy weights of the design world, and how they work together with a professional mindset.
Across the 3 days you will focus on each program in turn, creating content in each one, and bringing it all together to create a single connected outcome that highlights your new ability in Adobe Creative Cloud’s industry standard powerful design software.

No prior knowledge or experience of the Adobe Creative Cloud software is required. You will be guided through each piece of software to understand the basics and how they work together. However, you should have some basic Mac or PC skills.
This course is specifically designed for anyone seeking to expand their creative potential with Adobe Creative Cloud’s Big 3: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Whether you are new to Adobe Creative Cloud or have some prior experience, in one of these programs, this course is suitable for those who want to master the basics of how these 3 industry-standard programs work together to produce professional level design for print and digital.
There is almost a limitless list of industries and brands that use Adobe to create content, from digital artwork, photographic manipulation, vector art, logos, icons, UI (user interface) design, to multi-page publications, leaflets books, and brochures – the list goes on. So, whether you’re in fashion, retail, marketing, design, or something else, if your job or passion involves creating impactful content for social, digital, or print, to a professional standard, this course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to expand your creative potential and take your design abilities to the next level.

Rich is currently a Graphic Design Lecturer for our HND Art & Design and BA (Hons) Visual Communications (Top-up) courses.
Rich graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design in 1996 and has since worked in advertising and brand communication agencies for many clients, from blue chips to start-ups. With over 25 years of experience, 15 of which in agency and over 10 years as a freelancer, he offers real industry insight and a wealth of knowledge to students across branding, packaging, advertising, print and digital communications.
Rich currently splits his time between sharing his knowledge and experience with graphic design students while actively working with clients across London and the UK.
