DGHE Outreach Programme

We have a wide range of outreach activities on offer to help support students and community members who are considering their next steps into Higher Education.

For more information contact us!
DGHE’s Outreach Programme activities are designed to share information, skills and more value with partners in our community. We also hope to inspire potential students by sharing information about the opportunities available to them after they leave school or college.

Check below some of the activities we have organised in the past. You can also check our news section to see some of the previous results from our Outreach Programme.

Campus tours

Visit our campus! We would be happy to give you a tour of our facilities and introduce you to our staff and courses.

Sample lectures & group study skills tutoring sessions

Learn for free and grab a taste of what Higher Education at DGHE has to offer. Your group can attend sample lectures and study skills tutoring sessions on campus or online.

On-campus practical sessions, talks and art exhibitions

Experience life at DGHE. Visit our campus and take part in some of our extracurricular events. We could for example invite you to talks given by special guests and our art exhibitions where we showcase our current student’s works.

Careers and employability workshops

Gain careers and employment advice from our Careers Advisor, with talks on Labour Market Information (LMI), Gatsby Benchmarks, general tips and how DGHE helps prepare students for the working world after they complete their studies with us.

Wellbeing session

Enjoy a session with our Head of Student Experience and Wellbeing. Learn more about what DGHE has to offer our students in terms of support with mental health, disabilities like dyslexia and other special needs.

Workshops with our admissions team about the application process

Our admissions team can guide students through the university application process. We know that UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) applications can be stressful. Our expert admissions team can be on hand to guide students through the process

School visits and virtual sessions

DGHE can come to you, or alternatively, we can “zoom in” to your classroom. Let us know if your class or community organisation would benefit from hearing about a special topic we teach, or one of our lecturers given their unique expertise. We could also set up a special digital session between your group and our advisors in Admissions, Careers of Wellbeing.

Invite us to your careers fair

We attend many higher education fairs and exhibitions. If you are running an event, we would be happy to attend!

Fill out the form on the left if you are interested in any of our outreach activities; a staff member will contact you soon.
