Mary Fisk
Librarian & Learning Services Administrator
Mary Fisk has over thirty years of experience in academic libraries for higher education, initially in acquisitions and bibliographic services departments, and latterly in subject liaison roles. She has an undergraduate degree in History and a postgraduate degree in Information Services Management. She is a Chartered Member of CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals).
She works closely with the academic team to ensure that students and staff at DGHE have access to the learning resources they need to reach their academic potential.
In addition to developing the library collection and loaning books out to students, she responds to student enquiries concerning resource access, research, and citations
Outside of DGHE, she enjoys researching genealogy and family history, cookery, and reading historical fiction.
