January Showcase of HND Graphic Design & BA Visual Communication Artwork
Posted on 08/02/24
In January, DGHE’s School of Digital & Creative Technologies proudly presented a series of Graphic Design Shows. These each celebrated and observed the culmination of student creativity and growth.
The First Year HND End of the Year Show, ‘Help’, marked a significant milestone for new students. It showcased the creativity and innovative thinking of our first-year cohort. Following this, there was both the HND Graduating Show, ‘Clear’, and the BA Graduating Show, ‘Visual Voices’. These took place on the same evening and provided a platform for our graduating students to demonstrate their skills, innovation and distinctive voices.
Throughout these showcases, emphasis was placed on the mix of the traditional, innovative and experimental styles within contemporary graphic design and visual communications. From branding to packaging, advertising to animation, printmaking to installation – students explored a wide array of mediums and techniques, pushing the boundaries of design in exciting new directions.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all students! Thanks to the effort of students and committed lecturers, builders, and everyone else involved in curating these showcases, ensuring their success and impact.
To our graduating students, we offer our sincerest best wishes for continued success and fulfilment in their endeavours. For those continuing their academic journey, may these shows serve as inspiration for future exploration and growth.
