National Student Survey 2023 results are in and DGHE scored above the sector average in all areas!

The results are in! Students at David Game Higher Education (DGHE) have told us they are among the most satisfied in the country in all areas measured in the National Student Survey (NSS)! DGHE scored above average on every question in the 2023 NSS.
A deep dive into results shows that DGHE scored especially well against sector averages on the areas that we know set us apart from other institutions, such as our supportive environment, study-life balance and listening to our students.
Study-Life Balance
At DGHE, you can study just twice a week at our City of London campus, then balance study with your other commitments through the rest of the week. Our courses are designed to guide students in developing career-oriented knowledge and skills. Survey results suggest that our approach is the right balance of directed and independent student for our students.
“To what extent does your course have the right balance of directed and independent study?”
DGHE scored 90% while the sector average was 76% (we’re 14% higher)
Supportive Environment
We are focused on offering an extra supportive environment – including tailored study skills sessions, free Pre-Sessional English classes for those in need, wellbeing support and careers services. Survey results demonstrate that our students feel supported, receive valuable feedback and are informed of the wellbeing assistance we offer.
“How often does feedback help you to improve your work?”
DGHE scored 94% while the sector average was 72% (we’re 22% higher)
“How well have teaching staff supported your learning?”
DGHE scored 96% while the sector average was 84% (we’re 12% higher)
“How well communicated was information about your university/college’s mental wellbeing support services?”
DGHE scored 96% while the sector average was 75% (we’re 21% higher)
Listening and Responding to Students
It is very important to us to listen to our students and makes changes based on what learners are saying. Our survey results show that DGHE makes students feel heard.
“To what extent are students’ opinions about the course valued by staff?”
DGHE scored 90% while the sector average was 74% (we’re 16% higher)
“How clear is it that students’ feedback on the course is acted on?”
DGHE scored 87% while the sector average was 61% (we’re 26% higher)
We Outperformed The Industry
Together, DGHE scored above the sector average on every one of the 27 questions surveyed in 2023. Overall we performed above the industry average by 11%. We are proud to report that our students appreciate the work we do to make DGHE their best choice for higher education!
