Amina Ghezal
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutor
Amina has a PhD degree in Politics from the University of Exeter. She previously taught English for Academic Purposes for Political Science students at the University of Khenchela in Algeria. During her PhD degree, she worked as a postgraduate teaching assistant at the Politics Department, where she delivered seminars for different modules such as Research Methodology toolkit and Classical Political Thought. She designed teaching content and mentored students. She also assessed and marked students’ assignments and provided in-class and one-to-one feedback sessions to help students develop their academic writing skills. Thanks to her diverse teaching experience, she successfully gained the ASPIRE Higher Education Associate Fellow status (AFHEA status). She also worked as an education support assistant at the University of Exeter, providing administrative support to academics and students. She recently joined DGHE college as a part-time EAP tutor. Amina is passionate about assisting students improve their language and academic writing skills. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, writing, and digital art.
